Hi! Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. This post is all about… my recent trip to Xiao Liu Qui! By ‘recent’, I mean that I just returned last night. In case you don’t know, Xiao Liu Qui (pronounced ‘shiao lee-yo cho’) is a small island just off Southwest Taiwan. There is a 20-minute ferry ride to get there, and to get to the harbor from my house, (Morrison Academy Kaohsiung staff housing) is a 1-hour drive. Still, even though we only stayed for 2 days, it was WORTH IT. We went to 4 different places to swim, and we stayed at a hotel called Secret Path. it was Anna-Mazing place! If you go to Vase Rock, (which is one of the most famous places) there are some awesome places to wade, and it’s a great place to walk on the coral that sticks out of the ground! There are even some tiny starfish there! I didn’t see any sea urchins there, but at some of the other places, you have to be very careful, because they are everywhere! I hope some of the people reading this will get a chance to visit this place, because this was one of my favorite trips ever!
